The world's very first ISO/IEC 20000 Consultant/Manager

Dick Costeris, who works for Ordina Infrastructure Solutions as a Management Consultant, recently became the first person in the world to be awarded the EXIN Consultant/Manager Certificate in ITSM according to ISO/IEC 20000. Dick is extremely enthusiastic regarding the ISO/IEC 20000 certification: “As an ITIL Service Manager I am naturally interested in all new developments in the field. I am passionate about service quality and have therefore obtained all the relevant ITIL® version 2 and 3 certificates. EXIN’s ISO/IEC 20000 certification is exactly what we were waiting for and what we need in actual practice. It has finally given us a handle with which to structure quality improvement and control IT Service Management.” 

Dick participated in three introductory and pilot sessions for the ISO/IEC 20000 certification, which earned him the ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation, ISO/IEC 20000 Professional Management and Improvement, and ISO/IEC 20000 Support of IT Services certificates. 

EXIN awarded Dick the Consultant/Manager Certificate in IT Service Management according to ISO/IEC 20000 based on the combination of his earlier-obtained ITIL Service Manager certificate and the Professional Certificate in Management and Improvement. Dick intends to pursue the certification to the highest level: “As soon as the exams are available, I definitely want to continue and obtain the Senior Consultant/Manager Certificate, and also do the ISO/IEC 20000 Auditor track.”
