EXIN will host its first annual conference for IT professionals in China in October, marking the official launch of the new ISO/IEC qualification program for that region. Guest speakers from key organizations will be on hand, as well as various workshops to help Chinese IT professionals navigate the fast-paced changes that are taking place in the IT certification sector.

From October 8th to the 10th, professionals will have the opportunity to explore issues of IT training and certification together in a three-day program. The second conference in Shanghai is scheduled to begin October 13th.
“We are very excited to see the enthusiasm of the market for this conference. This is an excellent opportunity for EXIN to show that it has strong experience and extensive network to support this emerging market,” said Sun Zhenpeng, regional manager of EXIN China and organizer of the conference.

ISO/IEC 20000 Chinese Foundation exam launchA major highlight of the conference will be the official introduction of the new IT Service Management according to ISO/IEC 20000 program for the Chinese market. Attendees of the conference will be among the first to be ISO certified for Foundation (Chinese version). This new qualification program is a key business driver for a growing number of organizations whose clients demand proven quality. Organizations are therefore eager to hire certified IT staff with a sound knowledge of the ISO/IEC 20000.
“One of the objectives of the conference is to show how ISO/IEC 20000 can help service providers and customers achieve enhanced results in a cost effective educational model,” said Zhenpeng.
Train-the-Trainer WorkshopA unique initiative of EXIN with the launching of the new product is to prepare trainers for the new material. EXIN will begin giving Train-the-Trainer workshops for instructors who are interested in the new ISO/IEC 20000 qualification program. The participants of this workshop will be given professional advice on the development of the training and any free documentation they require for its preparation. Moreover, trainers who participate in the workshops and pass the exam will automatically be accredited for the Foundation level.
An international approachTrain-the-Trainer workshops are designed as an additional service to help support trainers in giving quality education that can be accredited by EXIN. Similar workshops are scheduled in Australia at the end of August and in the U.S.A. in September. In the coming months, more of these workshops will be organized in other global regions as well.
