Launch ISO/IEC 20000 Qualification Program in the US

We are very proud to announce that Mr. David Clifford will join us for this ISO/IEC 20000 Launch on June 12 and June 13 2008 and provide participants with an introduction to exams leading toward the Professional Certifications. David Clifford is an international authority on ISO/IEC 20000, the IT Service Management Standard. He has consulted, lectured and spoken internationally on the Standard and on IT Service Management frameworks. David is also a Fellow of the Institute of IT Service Management (ISM®) and is President Elect of the ISM. He represents the ISM on the British Standards Institution committee contributing to the next version of the Standard.

Summary of the second ISO/IEC 20000 Launch & Pilot as organized by EXIN USA

Wednesday June 11th
- 7:00 pm - ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation Examination*

Thursday June 12th
- 9:00 - am Introduction and examination:
   Professional Certificate Management and Improvement of ITSM Process according to ISO/IEC 20000.
- 1:30 pm - Introduction & examination:
   Professional Certificate Support if IT Services according to ISO/IEC 20000.
 
Friday June 13th                   
- 9:00 am - Pilot exam for the Professional Certificate Alignment of IT and the Business according to ISO/IEC 20000.
- 1:30 pm - Pilot exam for the Professional Certificate Control of IT Services according to ISO/IEC 20000.
- 4:30 pm - Summary & Close

*Foundation Exam
On Wednesday June 11, 2008 EXIN will hold an ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation Exam for those who wish to attend the above two sessions but do not meet the required Prerequisites. This exam will be held at St. Edwards University at 7:00 pm.

Further prerequisites
The prerequisites for taking the ISO/IEC 20000 Professional exams are the following:

  • The Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management according to ISO/IEC 20000
  • Having attended an accredited professional training course for the specific subject
  • Having accomplished successfully the practical assignment for the training course
  • Holders of the IT Service Management Practitioner certificate or
  • Holders of the IT Service Manager certificate or
  • Holders of the SQMF certificate or
  • Holders of the SQMA certificate or
  • Holders of the itSMF consultant certificate or
  • Holders of the itSMF Auditor certificate
