Short Information

TMap® Next Advanced (TMPA.EN)

Summary

This module is based on the revised version of TMap®, as described in the TMap® Next book. It is important to continue improving the quality of software. After all, we are still far from a ‘zero defects’ situation. Testing is therefore an important activity in the field of software development and maintenance. The Test Management approach (TMap®) is the perfect example of a structured test approach. TMap® is a leading testing standard in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. And thanks to its publication in Dutch, German and English, hundreds of organizations around the world are now using TMap.
In TMap® Next Advanced, the emphasis is on coordination and management tasks, such as drawing up and managing a (master) test plan and preparing a budget and a product risk analysis.
People with the TMap® Next Advanced certificate have the capacity to plan, manage and evaluate the test process. This involves explicit use of IT governance aspects result, risk, time and costs and the related business-driven test management (BDTM) approach.

Target group

The TMap® Next Advanced exam is primarily intended for people who are involved in test management activities on a daily basis: test managers, test coordinators and test consultants/advisors.  The module is also interesting for example, for test project managers who are working as test managers in a project if for project managers or development managers who are interested in the subject of test management in general.
